Our first time eating at Grm City and the pizza was phenomenal! Hands down the best pizza in the tri-state area! The nostalgic feel of the dining area booths with jukeboxes added to the ambiance. We ordered a large, half All Meats and half Everything pizza. The dough, sauce, and even the sausage are all house made. The crust is thin, the way we like it. We won't be going anywhere else from now on!
Atmosphere is warming, staff is friendly and establishment is clean. They serve both Mexican food and pizza. It is the oldest pizza parlor in Quincy. Prices are very reasonable. Check it out!
I ordered a nacho & it came looking like a BURRITO I asked for extra cheese & onion got neither!!! Will never order again if I have a layover here!!! A toco salad comes in a shell NOT a flour tortilla wrap with a few chips around it!!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
The service was amazing, but the food was pretty bad. The meat was an odd color, like gray-ish, and the rice tasted like it was made from a box. The beans.. well, that was an experience.
Great local place. Service was great, people are very cheerful and friendly. Pizza was awsome (not overly greasy) (see picture) tasted as great as it looked. The salsa that came with the chips was awsome (the hot had a great kick) and the burrito my friend had he said great. Annnndd the value for the money was amazing. The place was packed on a Monday even (not overly packed though). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! TRY AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY 😉
Not the slightest bit Mexican. The chicken used in the tacos appears to be cubed and boiled...not grilled. The margherita pizza did not have fresh basil on it. The mexican rice was absolutely tasteless. Even the appetizers (jalapeno poppers) were not good. They were overcooked. Overall the experience was gross.
The Pizza and The Salsa here is Fantastic to Start Off. I was feeling like something a little different tonight. I've been away for 5 years and came back, I remembered how great the fajitas were here from back then and wanted to get them again... Mistakes were made... Attached Picture is the Fajitas I got I only moved the Onions to the side. The Steak was Very Tough and hard to Chew (almost like it was from a frozen kit). The Chicken Tasted Great Cubed with a Hint of Pineapple but it wasn't typical "fajita chicken" they had before (wondering if they came frozen as well?) The portions of meat were so small compared to what I remembered, I used to run out of tortillas before I ran out of meat. Some of the Onions were raw? If I was a New Customer who ordered these I would never come back. Luckily I know how amazing the pizza is but left very unsatisfied.
Every single time we order carry out, they mess up the order. Every single time. I even specify that the cheese enchilada combo meal is what we want, and every time they just put one cheese enchilada into the container, nothing else. Then they tie up the bags so you can’t check to make sure the order is correct before you leave. When you call to report the error, they try to offer a credit for your next order, then hassle you when you try to use it. Gem City has gone down hill ever since COVID. How hard is it to get an order correct? They don’t seem to care about accuracy or customer service anymore. Will not be giving them anymore business. Sad, because we’ve been customers for almost 25 yrs.
